My Philosophy as an Educator
One of the greatest joys of teaching is watching something finally click.
Whether we're discussing Traditional Chinese Medicine, neurophysiology, or working through a challenging clinical case, my goal isn't simply to help veterinarians memorize information. My goal is to help them truly understand it.
I believe there is rarely one right way
to approach a patient...
Veterinary acupuncture is strengthened by curiosity, thoughtful clinical reasoning, and a willingness to learn from many respected teachers, traditions, and perspectives. I draw from human and veterinary medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, neurophysiology, and multiple schools of integrative thought so veterinarians can see more than one possible path forward.
Rather than promoting a single philosophy or protocol, I encourage veterinarians to build strong foundations, think critically, and develop an approach that serves both their patients and their practice.
Confidence grows through understanding
not memorization.
